With the ABC projecting both NSW and Tassie as voting No, it seems pretty clear that the No vote has won (as only three states need to vote No for that to be the final result).

The average Australia probably threw away the pamphlets thinking it was junk mail.

Reading the comments under posts by the Australian Electoral Commission is incredibly depressing...

For one, people accusing the AEC of offering pencils at voting booths so that they can change people's votes.

How can anyone seriously believe that in a system they imagine to be entirely corrupt, the method of changing the votes would be to manually go through the votes of millions of people and tediously erase and re-write each ballot with the desired outcome?

Dare a cynical old fart suggest that one way or another the last thing that the government wants is the empowerment of Indigenous Australians.

This same old fart thinks that the only thing to benefit said Indigenous folks would be a Treaty, & again, one way or another either option of government wants to prevent that possibility. (LNP or Labor)

So Riddle Me Ree, do we vote FOR the Voice knowing that they will use it as a distraction to lead away from Treaty or AGAINST it so they can claim that no-one is interested in it & forget all about it?

Either way, just be aware that this is the option that they are presenting us with. They are indeed clever bastards.
