So, Razor has gone. I've always thought he shouldn't be there anyway. I'm not denying his record with the Crusaders, but the international level is very different. At the Crusaders, he had a squad he could develop, week after week, year after year. It's a different game at the national level. You've got the best players from around the country and you have to meld them into a team. You don't get to experiment with one player, regardless of how well he *can* play (but doesn't always - looking at you, DMac) on the basis that he'll come right next year. I didn't like the way Robertson publicly campaigned for the job by campaigning against Foster (who also was no great shakes, lets be fair). That's not the way shit should be done. Also, his results speak for themselves. I've never seen the All Blacks play so randomly as they have over the last 2 years.

Sure, the rest of the world has caught up to where Hansen had taken the team. I didn't think Fozzie was the best successor, but he wasn't the worst either. My money is on Jamie Joseph as the next head coach but, whoever it is, they should sit down with Steve Hanson for a day or two and try to bottle what he did that made his team so dominant.
