One thing about #TheBookwalker I didn't realize ... I'm watching #JesseCox' playthrough, and he's using controller.
Don't use controller.
The meat of the game is pretty much a point and click adventure. It's both very pointy, and very clicky.
Now Jesse is running around the screens trying to find interactable items. When using controller you have to approach them. I played with mouse (and keyboard) and could just swoop over the entire screen to find stuff. Jesse is missing so many things!

I finished #TheBookwalker and I have thoughts!
I'm going to put those under a CW though.
As to my verdict: The game continues to be what it appeared to be from the start. Story heavy, gameplay light. You can solve all the puzzles by just clicking everything. If you're stuck, you missed a thing somewhere to click on.
The story is very enjoyable, the game only scratches the surface of the setting and leaves a lot to the imagination. I assume that's because of the developers' limited resources. -

#TheBookwalker weitergespielt, gefühlt nähere ich mich dem Ende und es nimmt Inception'esque Züge an.
Mir gefällt's immer noch sehr gut, obwohl's spielerisch eher seicht ist. Aber Setting und Handlung sorgen dafür dass ich dranbleibe.

#TheBookwalker looks seriously intriguing. I saw a few minutes of a let's play but stopped because I might want to play it myself. And it's only about 15€. And it's on Steam and gog, even though this trailer is for PlayStation

Bon la première vraie déception jeu vidéo de l'année, c'est clairement "The Bookwalker".
Peu inventif, redondant, gameplay approximatif, des bugs... Dommage. -

Fired up the #Xbox again after some #FinalFantasyXVI and #DiabloIV on the #PlayStation.
Giving two #GamePass games a chance.
I agree with the critics calling #Ravenlok a ‘My First RPG’, but with such a terrible camera and unbalanced levelling up, it hardly is a good game.
#TheBookwalker seems weird, twenty minutes in. Should come back when I’m less tired.
