Oh boy have the gloves come off with the #IHaveNoMouthAndIMustScream reference. It had been too subtle for me to notice for the longest time, until it was pointed out when #JesseCox talked about this show.
But now, Caine just zips up the characters' mouths when they feel like screaming, gets a god complex and starts torturing them.Jax remains the most mysterious character for me. His nightmare sequence, his eyes, his unwillingness to hear what he already seems to be thinking is going on. He's so scared, and so used to hiding something... 🤔

Unfortunately, I totally missed what #TheChineseRoom was about when I watched it. Didn't realize it was a thought experiment like #TheTouringTest. Anyway, Jesse jump-started a few thoughts of my own. What were Jax's visions? Is he even alive in the outside world? Do his sudden mood (and pupil size) changes occur when Caine messes with his brain? Does abstraction occur when Caine messes up changing someone's brain? -

Don't use controller.
The meat of the game is pretty much a point and click adventure. It's both very pointy, and very clicky.
Now Jesse is running around the screens trying to find interactable items. When using controller you have to approach them. I played with mouse (and keyboard) and could just swoop over the entire screen to find stuff. Jesse is missing so many things!
