#ThatFeelingWhen your entire writing group is all, "No notes" on your latest submission, when for the previous draft they definitely had notes: 😁
(They DID have notes, but only for a one-liner I tacked onto my submission. They all hated THAT, so it's scrapped. The total rewrite chapter though, they loved unreservedly. ❤️)
They also said that the partial-rewrite excerpt I included (hey I get 5k words before they cut me off; I'm gonna milk it) totally kicked them in the feels. 🎉

For those not in the know, a cat closing their eyes in your presence means they trust you. (See also eating, grooming.) I've had this guy less than 12 hours so I was really surprised. He did it very deliberately too; he wanted me to notice.
