This is a documentary that follows two people through several years of their relationship: First, they're shown as a lesbian couple and then one of them comes out as a trans guy.
Again, this is the stories we need to be showing to people. Especially when it comes to the reaction of the family. It's quite normal for parents to be worried or scared of the unknown. But when people love each other, and it makes them happy, it becomes clear for their family that that's exactly what's important. Same goes for loving themselves, and accepting they're trans.I really love how this was edited and framed, and I enjoyed how open Julia and especially Jonathan were about it all, and in detail. Really chill, which I appreciate.
I'm very happy that we're getting more of these documentaries and reports. When you talk about a group of people it's far from reality, someone you don't know. It's hard to connect when you don't see that they're also just living their lives.
