Y'all, it's been thirteen minutes. I took Sherbert's eggs out ~ I couldn't take it any longer. 13 minutes and she's happy again! 🥰 🦜 🎉
She's catching up on food and I refilled her water bowls because I'm sure a bath will happen shortly.
Thanks so much for everyone's concern! That meant the world to us 💜 We're on our way to normal again and Sherb pics will begin again! (sorry ~ it's gonna be a deluge!) 🤗 😊 🦜 🐦 🦉 🐦⬛ 🦅 -

I am more than worried about Sherbert. The picture is the opposite of what I was trying to convey ~ that she is miserable and exhausted. It's her eyes ~ they just look ... sad. 🥺 🦜
I have to read up on how long conures can lay eggs. She's 17, hasn't she had enough?

We're on egg watch. 🪺 She'll wait until I leave the house, because that's what she does. Silly bird. 🦜 🥚 🐣

I am recovered from the stomach bug I've had since Friday 🤮
Managed to sleep for 6 hours again last night! Heaven 💤
Everything is completely back to normal with me and Sherbert! She took another bath this morning and has been nursing me back to health all day 🥰 🦜

Look who finally decided to make an appearance! She stayed on my shoulder for over 2 hours! 🥰 🦜 💜

With cat-like reflexes (🙄 ), I removed the eggs from Sherbert's cage. It only took a few minutes for her to figure it out and then she went straight to her water bowl to take a bath 🦜 🛀. It's been a month since her last one and she was stinky!
She has eaten, taken a few naps and is getting used to the idea of it just being the two of us again 🥰

It's been 5 mo. on my current workout schedule and I increased dumbbell weight today. Not too bad! I only lost count once @falcennial ! 💪 😉

My friend is having an even better day since her internal defibrillator placement! 🙏 🫀 💜
Two rolls of 1 inch ribbon is being delivered today! (the straight pins are working out GREAT!) 🎀 🎄
It took 3 days to get the nerve up to clean Sherb's cage 🙄 And it's done! All she did was get out of the way and watch while I did it! This is the 2nd time she's cooperated like that. It's a new milestone in our relationship! 🦜 🪺

When I left the house this morning, everything was perfectly fine. Six hours later and Princess has gone and laid a THIRD egg!! 😮 🥚 🦜
I've never known her to have a clutch this large! Poor thing must be exhausted! 🥱

Not quite sure how it happened, but I assure you it was an accident. Sherbert was on my shoulder while I put finishing touches on the new cage and I guess I got too close ... she hopped right off and started checking things out! Gave her an apple (her favorite) to celebrate!

Today's t-shirt! This is probably the fourth shirt like this. Before I knew better, Sherbert would sit on my left shoulder and put holes in the shirt, rendering it uncool to wear outside.
Now I buy inside shirts from thrift stores and keep outside shirts safe 😀
