Once upon a time I was so ready to feel like a target, or a victim, that I would've been offended by a simple gesture like that. Upset that a man have the absolute audacity to pay me a complement. I like to think I've grown a bit wiser since then. I was at Sam Walton's Hell Emporium, the one for normies, not the exclusive VIP member's only Sam Walton's Hell Emporium. I had to go shoe shopping a few days ago to find some fancy dress heels. I found a pair in the clearance section. They fit, felt good, but were outside of my style comfort zone (kitten heels, little strap, pointy toe). As I was looking at them in the mirror, nervously turning this way and that, the security guard (female) walked by and, unprompted, told me they looked amazing on me. Made my whole day. I am still living off that compliment.

Seeing the despicably cruel, heartless and abusive way that many people in UK and US have responded to the deaths of conservative politicians, Ann Widdecombe and Lindsey Graham, reminds me that the least kind people on earth are ironically those on the #BeKind woke left.
