I just tried Sumatra PDF on Windows for the first time and it blew my mind how fast it is on PDF rendering! It's totally becoming my default PDF reader for that OS!

What _is_ it with modern #PDF readers that they eventually refuse to display pages of PDFs after you have used them for some time, and then you have to close the PDF and reload it?
This isn't limited to #AcrobatReader , either - I have seen the same thing with #SumatraPDF .
I've mostly seen this with #ttrpg PDFs, but not just with them either - and it also happens with my work notebook, so it's independent of any configuration I might have done on my own PC.

Welchen #PDFReader verwendet ihr?
Ich suche einen schnellen Reader mit dem man auch Anmerkungen mit Stift machen kann... Adobe Reader wird mir immer zu aufgeblasener.
Habe auch #SumatraPdf getestet. Der ist schnell, man hat aber nur Textfelder für Anmerkungen erstellen.Gerne retröt 🔄

Stavo cercando un lettore #PDF portatile per il mio PC da gioco (#Windows), #Foxit sembra piuttosto usato, quindi sono andato a cercarlo in rete.
So che le versioni portatili contengono tutte le librerie e tutti i file necessari, ma 452 Mb!! Come è possibile?Così ho scaricato #SumatraPDF che pesa solo 15 Mb, è un solo eseguibile e basta.
L'ho già installato sul mio notebook del lavoro ed è un buon lettore PDF che fa il suo dovere: aprire i file pdf. -
Con el tema de la moderación y control innecesario de #Adobe de los documentos privados, recuerdo que #SumatraPDF funciona mejor que Acrobat Reader y no solo abre #PDF. Llevo años usándolo y creo que incluso es más ligero. Junto con 7zip para archivos comprimidos, forma parte de los programas que considero imprescindibles.

Tu as un lecteur pdf qui accepte l'écriture même le pdf ouvert ?
(Je me suis aperçu il y a peu que #SumatraPDF l'acceptait).

Visores #PDF. El rey de lo ligero es #SumatraPDF, 7 mb en comparación con los 500 megas que llega a ocupar no-sabemos-bien-en-que #Adobe reader. Mantiene su adorable presentación cutre aunque ya cuenta con una interfaz modernilla. Permite ver y crear anotaciones PERO NO rellenar formularios o firmar PDFs 🙁

No uses Adobe Acrobat Reader si puedes evitarlo.
He tenido que imprimir muchas cosas últimamente y el AAR es lentísimo, cuando le doy a imprimir se bloquea y no me deja hacer nada más hasta que procesa toda la orden de impresión. Lo cual le lleva MUCHO tiempo
¿Cómo nos han colado toda esta basura que usamos a diario?
