Steller Sea Lion with the catch of the day. Photo taken at the end of winter during the herring spawn on the coast of Vancouver Island. It's an annual event and I always look forward to it. There is so much wildlife to photograph!

This was probably the pinnacle of my #corvid #painting period, I enjoyed every aspect of painting it, from the bright colours to the luscious texture of the #oils. Like sending a child off, I miss this painting. If I could have one piece back of everything that found a new home, this would be it. Pinky in the #blossoms.
