Last week, I made a Pacific Wren at the request of a patron who visited my booth at a local festival. These birds are a found in the Pacific Northwest of the US and in southwestern Canada, as well as parts of Alaska.

Random bird question! This was new to me, but perhaps this behaviour is normal?

We had clothes hanging out on a line in the back garden this morning, and shortly afterwards, a wren was trying to get into my pants:

It landed on my jeans a few times and seemed to be stuffing nesting material up and into the space created by the upside-down waistband area. Is this.. weird bird activity?

This little chap has been making a filthy din in my garden for the last hour or more. Watching him, there are in fact two that emerge from and return to the same bush. There is also a constant bird noise which Merlin has been unable to identify, and I'm hoping there's a brood in there somewhere that is in the process of fledging.
