This is how the new App Center in Ubuntu 23.10 does when you click or double-click on a deb file to install it. Basically I can no longer install deb files, as I could with the old Software Center.

@gnome Software is one of the best #Linux software centers in terms of UI and features. It has the option to choose package format, view app screenshots, description, ratings, download size, permissions, whether the app is open source or not and many more. The only drawback is the long (re)loading time which can be quite annoying sometimes.
