As a kitten, Smudge used to live under a shed. If you locked eyes for even a second, he’d run. If you tried to touch him, he’d duck. It has taken literally years for him to trust us, let alone come in the house. But now… now I can’t shift the bugger off my bloody couch!
And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Goodnight!
