Prayers for peace🙏
One of my #Tseycum friends held a small prayers circle, this morning. We smudged, drummed, sang, put offerings into a fire & prayed for peace in chaotic, uncertain times 💗

One of my #Tseycum friends gifted us with some of their #WildSalmon catches, yesterday. I baked some of the #fish up for Mom & my youngest brother, Jerry. I kept theirs simple - bit of salt rub with minced garlic.
I used some of the salmon to make myself #Teochew style, soya sauce steam braised salmon with ginger & green onions & ate it with plain congee.

Elder Dave Bill, from #Tseycum #FirstNation on #Wsanec lands, creates all the regalia for their peoples. He carved this multiple spirit animals protection necklace, especially for me & gave me healing blessings 🙌
Incredible surprise #gift - I didn't expect to receive something so special💗🙏💗.
Elder Dave handcrafted my custom #necklace from one deer #antler. It has cormorant, eagle, raven, otter, orca, bear #SpiritAnimals represented.
Our #Wsanec #Tseycum brother / Earth protector Indigenous friend was #arrested by #RCMP this morning for trying to stop clearcutting of trees to put up a mansion estate. On his own people's unceded lands. RCMP presence was overkill - to deal w/one single native man.
