ok, so it's just buses and all pretty simple... a few points to test tomorrow.
Although being so simple, appears there's very little to go wrong, I think it's looking likely this is an LCD failure so not sure it's going to be worth trying a fix/trying to find a supplier for the custom part.
Looks like there was someone in the US who made one, but I think the shipping and duty will make that a bit too much to justify fixing this.
