Revisiting this now that I'm up to September 1996: I feel like Nash and Hall are pretty cool, but Hogan is this obnoxious try-hard trying to ride their coat-tails? I've re-soured on him pretty quickly. He's less obnoxious when he's clearly TRYING to draw heat than he was as a face that the crowds hated, at least? Aside from the initial shock I feel like the nWo would have been better off without him so far...

In news on me watching 1996 pro wrestling, I'm two weeks past the debut of the nWo and heel Hulk Hogan is kind of winning me over? I prefer Diesel and Razor over him and it still feels weird seeing these outsiders on WCW instead of WWF, but Hogan has cut two fire heel promos so far. I'm conflicted, because I know he was a giant douche his whole life.

I'm up to a certain famous episode of Monday Nitro from the end of May!! Two jobbers were having a match, then an "unknown" guy comes in from the crowd, grabs a mic, climbs in the ring, and says "You know who I am, but you don't know why I'm here" then after a short speech ends with "You want a war? You got one!"
Gee, I wonder if anything big ever comes of this angle...
