See that "JB" on the case back? That's the original mark used in the 20th century to honor Henri Jeanneret-Brehm, father of Excelsior Park! This is being added alongside "Since 1866", which honors Henri's father Jules-Frédéric Jeanneret, who brought complicated watchmaking to #SaintImier.

The sons of Jules-Frédéric Jeanneret established Usine du Parc in 1886. They used a dove mark and the Colombe and Diana brands, registering "Excelsior" in 1891 for sports timers.
Henri Jeanneret-Brehm took over in 1901 and combined this brand with the name of his factory, registering "Excelsior Park" in 1912.
His son Robert took over in the 1920s and the #SaintImier brand became legendary for fine mechanical #chronograph. He honored his family by stamping "JB" on each #watch movement plate!

Wenige Tage zuvor hatte sich die antiautoritäre Fraktion ebenfalls in Genf getroffen, die Fortsetzung des Gegenkongress von #SaintImier im Jahr zuvor, nachdem u.a. #Bakunin, #Guillaume und Victoria #Woodhull aus der #IAA ausgeschlossen wurden.
