Have any fellow #retropie fans heard any chatter about an official #rp5 version? I installed an unofficial version a year ago or so, which is ok, but haven't seen any press from the Retropie org/website folks

I've owned three #Anbernic handhelds and never had any problems with them.

The first #Retroid device I bought (also twice as expensive as any other I own) and it nearly catches fire and the company can't seem to manage a return process.

Don't buy a #RetroidPocket5, their charging circuitry is faulty and they can explode.

Main issue so far is the position of the sticks at the bottom. It’s very uncomfortable to hold it for newer games where you move with the stick instead of the d-pad. People recommended buying grips, so we’ll see.

Everything else has been great so far, games run beautiful, great compatibility, the AMOLED screen looks amazing, steam link, Xbox and PS streaming from console run very well.

I have managed to track down the various things that were preventing WPA3/SAE only Wifi networks working in Rocknix. Builds for the #retroid #rp5 and #rp5mini here. Still needs some cleanup and testing against our other targets to be sure I didn't introduce regressions. But this should be helpful if you, like me.
