Ich hatte mal ein Foto von 6 Geigen auf einer Kirchenbank, deren Gesamtwert im 3 stelligen Millionenbereich lag.
Oder ich schlage den Namen eines Solistys in der Wikipedia nach, und das ist einfach eine/r der drei führenden Koryphäen auf der fucking Welt. O.O

Also managed to sell the pair of cycling shoes (Van Rysel NCR) that I bought earlier this month because it was too narrow for me. Used the money to get a pair of Shimano RC300 Wide instead and they were cheaper!

Disadvantage of living in a small city: it is only 5 kilometers before you have to start using high speed narrow roads (e.g. Landstraßen in Germany) for road cycling.
Of course, some places have dedicated bike "highways" and some high speed roads have bike paths. Still these bicycle friendly roads are mostly disconnected after a kilometer or two. And even if you are confident at riding 30-40kmph, most motorists do not appreciate that speed on roads that allow 70 and above.

@RadicalRuss At least once or twice a day, the #DoorDash app will just freeze up. I miss orders because of that, too. Sometimes, I have to reboot the whole phone just to get Dash to work again.
Again, I run Doordash, #Uber, #Grubhub #Instacart, #Roadie, #GoogleMaps, #Gridwise, and #Spotify on the phone all day. None of them hang/crash like DoorDash.

Inside West Suffolk's (UK) Maglia Rosso is the signed jersey from Graeme Obree's one-hour record in Oslo, a preserved Penny Farthing from the 1880s, and (what I think is) the owner's completion jersey from the LEJOG (Land's End to John O' Groats).
Beautiful place!

Yesterday, on the virtual cycling race I took part in on my smart trainer, the live commentator mistakenly called me "Mark Alpha" (because he couldn't see my name in full).
It sounds like an action movie spy alias. And, have I become somewhat mythic like John Mastodon?
Probably not, but - still - I am now "Alpha, Mark Alpha".

So, it looks like an #introduction is the thing to do, being a #crops #farmer is my day job which keeps the wheels rolling, so it's no surprise that the #weather is one of my preoccupations, I'm always looking at the latest (weather) models or just up at the sky wondering whats going on. In my spare time I'm a #cyclist, took it up 10 years ago or so and was a confirmed #roadie but during the lockdowns I bought a #gravelbike and since then can often be found down the local #bogroad or #canalbank
