    This is amazing!

    I brought this argument of offshore windparks forward in many discussions, especially with the local nature conservation associations worried about the impact on sea life.

    However, as with all topics with huge economic interests and strong ideologic positions, I still try to be careful with 'too good to be true' claims.

    But I really hope that this is true.
    It's just that the effects of offshore wind farms on marine ecosystems is, like always, much more complex than what fits in a headline:

    Bottom line: it is still possible to argue in favour of quick expansion of offshore windparks, because the negative effects of a failed electricity transition are well known. But we need to be careful, because since these projects are largely investment-driven and involve huge financial interests, our administrations cannot be trusted to manage the issue in the broader interest.
