  1. Well, by some minor miracle we *appear* to have avoided major losses in #Oregon despite the #RedFlagWarnings, #FireWeatherWatches and #PDS notifications. Minimal fire growth, but we've still hit an all time record for YTD acres burned, beating out 2024's gangbuster of a season. These successes are a testament to the complete and coordinated fire protection system here in #Oregon.

    We still have 6-8 weeks to go with more red flag warnings and a growing heatwave.

    IMPACTS: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down & a few power outages may result.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Dry, offshore winds will increase fire danger. A Red Flag Warning remains in effect from 11 PM Thursday through 5 PM Saturday.
