This is my favorite road in wine country. It travels down the Napa and Sonoma border on the top of the western edge of the Mayacamas Range. This view is looking north. On the right is the Napa Mt Veeder AVA. On the left is the Sonoma Moon Mountain AVA. The road ends at the Random Ridge Vineyards and the Hanna Bismarck Knob Vineyards. It goes past Skye Vineyards and there is a good view of the Mayacamas Vineyards to the east. Best to have 4wd. #WineCountry #Sonoma #Napa

Take the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) Survey

This survey will play a key role in helping Napa prioritize specific wildfire prevention and protection projects. The City of Napa is developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan. The CWPP provides communities, planners, and fire officials the resources to identify, plan for, and implement projects like vegetation management, structure hardening, outreach and education programs, and fund development to implement the work.
