  1. '01 Private Reserve is stuffed but balanced, with beautiful fruit and some grip still on the finish. Tasted next to 01 Schrader, I preferred this, even though I brought Schrader. πŸ˜„

    The styles of this and the Schrader were very different, Schrader showing more finesse, this more depth. And beautifully balanced, opulence tamped down a bit thanks to age, perfectly integrated.

    Overall, this super CabSauv is holding brilliantly. 14.2% alc. New vintages, about $175
