Air quality levels will remain very poor and #hazardous across the #Northland Wednesday night and Thursday as #wildfire #smoke continues to pass through.
It will be #dry and #mild overnight with low #temperatures in the upper 50s and 60s.
A few #showers are possible north of Highway 2 Thursday as highs #warm to the 80s with a light northeast #wind.

A weak cold front will bring less #humidity to the #Northland. #Temperatures remain quite #warm with lows Tuesday night in the upper 60s and low 70s, with highs Wednesday in the 80s and low 90s.

Happy #Monday afternoon from the #Northland!
It's been a bit #wet in some locations with several #inches of #rainfall taking place in the #I-35 corridor and northwest #Wisconsin.
It is not helping to #cool us down too much, nor is it helping with lowering #dew #point levels. Still quite #warm & #humid for at least a couple more days.

An #unsettled #weather pattern returns to the #Northland for the weekend thanks to a strong #jet #stream and #stationary #front.
#Shower and #thunderstorm chances return by Saturday afternoon, which will persist through #FathersDay.
#Temperatures remain seasonal with highs in the 70s as the #humidity rises.

Working off this, and taking a look at the #surface #map as of 7 a.m. Tuesday, there is already a decent #low-pressure system in the #Dakotas working towards the #Northland.
This low will ride the #jetstream into Canada, but the #cold #front connected to it will be the primary catalyst for #showers and #thunderstorms to form along it.
These storms will have the #energy in front of it to become strong or severe across our region.

NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR APRIL 11, 2024:
#Weather conditions remain #unsettled across the #Northland, but we get a bit of a break Wednesday night with #showers becoming #isolated. Light #winds will help cool #temperatures to the 30s for lows.
A strong #storm system to our east brings back #scattered showers and possibly a few #thunderstorms Thursday. A #breeze from the north will keep highs in the 50s.
