A new #Severe #Thunderstorm #Warning is in effect for a portion of the western half of the #SouthShore region of the #Northland.
This is a continuation of the severe storm that impacted the southern half of the #NorthShore.
Strong #winds and large #hail are the greatest threats from it.

A #Severe #Thunderstorm #Warning is in effect for the far southern portion of the #NorthShore region of the #Northland.
This thunderstorm is becoming more of a #wind threat as well as a possible #hail threat.

The latest #Severe #Thunderstorm #Warning in the #Northland is for hail up to half-dollar size and wind gusts up to 50 mph.
it is just exiting the #IronRange region, heading southeast towards the southern half of the #NorthShore.

Everyone will still be under the threat of strong or #severe #storms, heavy #rains, and possible #flooding.

A #Flash #Flood #Warning is in effect for central #Bayfield County through most of this evening.
#Rainfall totals of 1.5" to 4" have fallen so far, with more rain coming through the #Northland.
This area includes Highway 2 between Iron River and #Ashland.

EXTREME COLD ALERT:
For the first time since they changed the name from #WindChill #Warning, nearly all of the #Northland is under a #Extreme #Cold Warning from Saturday night through Tuesday morning.
Wind chills as cold as 45-below are possible. #Frostbite can form in as little as 10 minutes on exposed skin, plus the increase risk for #hypothermia if you are outside with improper clothing.

HOW WINDY & SNOWY WAS THIS WEEK:
Wednesday was #windy across the #Northland. Big #storms will also bring the #gales along #LakeSuperior, but It isn't often that we see gusts over 40 mph away from the lake.
It's also been #snowy in some spots this week. The #Arrowhead and #SouthShore snowbelt regions saw the highest #snowfall.

4 P.M. #RADAR UPDATE:
The #rains from the upcoming big #storm system are starting to push into the far southern regions of the #Northland.
They will move north to cover the area by late this evening, and they will become heavy in spots.
