Brand new art made from a old photo I had laying around. I love the Redbud trees that bloom first thing in springtime before they even put their heart shaped leaves on. It is a sight I look forward to after a long cold winter and it is when we know with a certainty that spring is here.

This will double as my #randombranchiness and my #smallart post today. I like to offer smaller prints for people who may not have the wall space for large framed #artprints but still want to enjoy original #art in their homes or offices.

For my next #randombranchiness post I chose this work I recently made. I like to add drama to an #artwork by using #selectivecolor. In this case the warped #trees and #dark gray tones really needed a pop of red to lighten up the gloom. #MastoArt #FediArt #DigitalArt #artforsale #FediGiftShop #surreal #AYearForArt

In today's #randombranchiness post I also want to talk about #smallart.
Some of my #artwork is not available in super large print sizes and I think that is okay because not everyone has room for giant art. Not everyone can afford the price either. So smaller artworks work well for small spaces like office cubicles, apartment gallery walls or to give as an affordable but #unique #gift.

For my daily #randombranchiness post here is an older piece I made from my own photograph. I was mainly focusing on the frozen fog and the cold little bird but later I fell in love with the framing of the branches on the tree.

A long time ago when I still liked Instagram I created the hashtag #randombranchiness for #treeart It got very popular and I even eventually made a special feature page for it. Now that I am here on Masotodon I wonder if the hashtag would gain any traction? Would love to see your tree art tagged with it! Lets see if we can surpass the IG gallery which had over 20K images last time I checked.
