2 Cardinal and one Robin nests. Babies are all gone now. There are more, I just can't reach them. We also have at least one #hummingbird family but I can't find theirs. Fun in the #garden !

Bestial Human Hummingbird

The smallest of the bestial human birds, hummingbirds are hyperactive omnivores with a love of all things sweet. Though frequently sporting attractive plumage, their need to consume their own bodyweight in protein and sugars every day means they are constantly on the lookout for food and are considered undesirable guests. As a result, they are seldom welcomed into human communities even when accompanied by humans and human mutants, and must often be covertly carried into a settlement by slipping inside a large companion’s backpack and bedroll.

The male Anna's hummingbird that has decided to stick around for the winter. I haven't seen the others for a couple of weeks now They all seemed to be immature ones that would have hatched out this summer. It was filling up on food for the long night before it got dark this evening. This was about 4pm and it shows up after 7am in the morning.

This #RubyThroatedHummingbird is nectaring on the flowers of the Blue #Lobelia in Guelph #Ontario #Canada.The Ruby Throated Hummingbird, Archilochus colubris, is a tiny bird species that is about 7-9cm long and has a 8-11cm wing span. Nectar from flowers as well as small insects and spiders are its main food.
