One of the fun little things I had to do recently was submit a list of objectives for my research. Which in this context meant telling my department what could be the possible industry applications could be for all of this work.

I'm an #academic based in #Bengaluru now and I teach #EnglishLit at college level. I love words: so writing, editing, translating, and reading are all areas of interest. I've submitted my #PhD thesis in contemporary British drama and am awaiting public defense. I'm #Tamil and #ace.

I have strong feelings but low energy, so I'd rather doomscroll than engage with "unpopular opinions."
