#Nix ecosystem and Holos.Social . Love to explain curious minds how some projects in the nix ecosystem does things in a way which many wouldn't have thought of. Like #devenv, #nixos, #nix-wrapper-modules, #nixdockerTools, #homemanager, #nixsystemmanager, etc -

Why does he have power only in one area, can stop all crime in that area, but is still unable to stop certain things? Just an illogical mishmash which seems to promise even more pointlessness with the ending.

A Tamil Opensource Spellchecker is my long time dream. With the continious efforts of many friends, we released “Iyal Tamil Spellchecker” recently.

It has huge words collection, bloom filter based quick search, bk tree based suggestions, Tamil rules from Tamilinaiya Vaani spellchecker, Grammar rules from LanguageTool.org and more.

In this release, today added 5147 new words to the collection.
There are total 1,55,966 words now in that repo, used as base word bank.
I am collecting these words from 625 tamil websites, blogs. Thanks for all of them for writing Tamil in public and to provide RSS feeds. I collect latest content daily, calculate the words frequency. If any word is used more than 50 times, I consider it as a good used word and add to the collection of Iyal tamil spellchecker.
Added few right words, few wrong words and few replacement words.
Hoping to release next versions with more words. Let me know if you want to add any new features.

CW: Movie about war
Watched a #tamil #movie last evening called Neelira (A long night). A message that’s the need of the hour! There are no winners in any war. A wonderful debut for the director and it made me sad that such gems don’t get the attention that’s needed. We watch movies/newsclips that glorify senseless violence and war, shout and clap when the “enemy” is “obliterated”… but don’t seem to be bothered to have any meaningful discussions about the realities of the implications…
Go watch this movie and let’s stop the wars once and for all and learn to cohabit so we can try and solve the real problems that need solving for our survival!
