It's possible that a router's settings get messed up because of multiple consecutive short power cuts to the point where the password for connecting to the ISP's modem isn't correct. 😦
Because I don't know what else could have happened to mine that I can't get to work for days and I had so little time to troubleshoot. 😞

Got a leaflet with the post about coping with power cuts and registering for priority needs help (I did that, years ago). I was wryly amused at the advice to have an analogue phone to plug in if need be during a power cut. Which I don’t think will work when UK copper phone lines are turned off. My husband didn’t know about that at all. It tells us all we need to know about the state of the nation, when the #NationalGrid is glad to report that due to other countries have good #gas storage, there is less liklihood of #powercuts this #winter... once again we are reliant on the kindness of strangers, but if we keep setting fire to our international reputation we may find such kindness is either more expensive, or less evident...
