  1. Sometimes the hardest part isn't uncertainty itself but the effort of holding yourself so tightly against it that nothing can move, and what changes things is often smaller than insight — the moment you stop treating difficulty as something to harden against.

  6. When one person is seen as the one who knows and someone else as still finding their way, it can leave a kind of distance between you. It can do real good, but something in it doesn’t fully settle.

  8. We’ve been trained to seek solutions — the moment when things finally hold together and stop moving.

Healing grows where there’s enough space to let movement happen — room for grief, relief, misery, and joy to coexist without being rushed into resolution.

Spaciousness is not passivity. It’s capacity.

  9. Pema Chodron on Remaining Like a Log - "This is a major support for learning to stay present. Basic wakefulness is right here, if we can just relax. Our situation is fundamentally fluid, unbiased, and free, and we can tune into this at any time. When we practice 'remaining like a log,' we allow for this opportunity." shambhala.com/remaining-like-a #PemaChodron #Dharma #Buddhism #Bodhisattva #Mindfulnes #Meditation #RecoveryDharma @dharma
