Our haul from yesterday at PAX Unplugged. This was my first big time convention, and I was woefully under prepared. I need to get together a way bigger budget next time. It was amazing seeing all the indie game makers be so swamped with people. Even with it being as loud as it was, I managed to chat with a ton of people. Today I feel energized about my own games. Mel and I are chatting about vending and running games for next year.

We are at Tabletop Freeplay: table 51E near the DE3 pillar now and will be for about two hours!

Of my group of friends, I was the only one able to register for a slot in any of the games before they closed at #PAXU which is kind of lousy.

Six years of this nonsense and you’d think someone would hire a competent technical and program team. I guess they don’t care because it works to get butts in seats. Still, I think you could be making a lot more participants happy, or at least feel like their ticket money wasn’t a ripoff.
