  1. Today the #osdev_notes project has reached the milestone of 1000 stars on github. It started as personal set of notes, and honestly I would have never expected it to become so big, with 2 main authors, a total of 31 contributors.
I just want to thank everyone who contributed, with corrections, new contents or buying physical copies.
    Here a short #kofi post I made: ko-fi.com/post/Another-importa
The project is available here: github.com/dreamportdev/Osdev-

  2. Did two more single-signature #hardcover #booklets
The first one is a small #heroquest character sheet booklet, the second one just a journal, with the #osdev_notes book cover as cover. The full story is avilable on #kofi (totally free) ko-fi.com/post/Two-more-bookbi

  3. A self-promotion post. Just to remind about one of my personal projects: #osdev_notes available here: github.com/dreamportdev/Osdev- a complete guide on how to write an #operatingsystem system from scratch in C. It covers all the steps from the boot to the userspace (and beyond) passing through file-system, scheduling, memory etc.
They are totally free. They are also available as a printed book on lulu: lulu.com/search?sortBy=RELEVAN #programming #osdev #kernel #assembly #selfpublishing

  4. So recently i had some time to play again with #bookbinding, tried to make couple of notebooks, one using some decorated paper i bought at a #crafting store, and the other one based on my #osdev_notes #book project, i call it the "Osdev Notebook", it's still in a drafting stage, but the idea is nice (i have designed the inner pages too).
I've posted it on my ko-fi page too: ko-fi.com/post/Some-homemade-n (don't worry i use it as my blog, so nothing to pay). #art #handmade

  5. And one of my projects yesterday has reached a big milestone 400 stars on github, i honestly didn't expect for it to receive so much attention. So far the most successful thing i have done! Thanks to anyone who starred it!
The project is my co-authored book on how to write an #operatingsystem: Osdev Notes.
    It's available here: github.com/dreamportdev/Osdev-

  6. Spent sometime today in practicing some #bookbinding (a new interest i found recently), i'm pretty new to this world. One of the #notebook was an experiment done using as cover the cover of the book i wrote (#osdev_notes) i called it the Osdev Notebook :D

I still have a lot to learn, but i kind of like the result.
