What really stands out to me as this war against #Hamas progresses is just how much #AntiSemitism is out there, seething under the surface of routine, daily interactions.
All it takes to unleash that on Jews everywhere is Israel fighting to protect its existence from barbaric terrorists. I don't see this level of vitriol as a result of virtually any other conflict in the world, including regions where there is actual #genocide taking place.

If Israeli hostages are treated well by Hamas, then that is a positive thing. Why hope for the hostages to be tortured and otherwise treated cruelly.
At the same time, this doesn't change the barbaric, vile nature of the attacks on 7 October, or Hamas' relentless attacks on Israeli civilians. They're still terrorists and should be taken out.

FYI: The Israeli President is focused more on national unity and doesn't have executive authority as I understand the role. I see the role as representing the Israeli people as a whole to the rest of the world.
