I went to the New York Auto Show and talked to people about their new vehicles and tech. If you are interested in what makes the new Subaru Trailseeker EV different from the other Subaru EV (Solterra), give a click. #NYIAS

The Chevy Bolt EV was the least impressive niche EV I saw at #NYIAS this year, and I'm surprised they had it featured at all when it was this close to being killed off. One of the weirder lead gen efforts I've seen...

I can just barely fit in the back of a Toyota GR86. I had to crane my neck and the front seat was pulled up, but an adult human could still fit up there.
I’d say I could handle it for 10, maybe 15 minutes. I’m 5’11” for reference. Not for the claustrophobic.

Didn't get to take a lot of pictures, but my favorite cars at #NYIAS were the Kia Forte and Stinger; Ford Mustang; Jeep Renegade Trailhawk; and surprisingly, the Dodge Hornet GLH.
My least favorites were every car with a stupid iPad shoved on the dash as if self-driving cars were already a thing, and every ridiculously huge truck.
The Kia EV6 would be my current pick for an EV, but I suspect there will be more interesting options in the next few years.

Got free #NYIAS tickets from Hyundai, checked out some EVs for the first time.
Kia EV6: Wonderfully balanced, overall favorite. (Kia > Hyundai on every similar car.)
Volkswagen ID4: Nice minimalist interior, ruined by ugly screens.
Nissan Ariya: Meh overall; cozy but oddly claustrophobic.
Bolt EV: Cheap EV for California. Even Chevy's driver didn't like it!
The new Mustang is beautiful, useless backseats included, but the Mach-E's interior was very disappointing.
