  3. 🤖✨ Behold the latest revelation: Large Language Models can now miraculously 'understand' nullability! 🙄 Brace yourselves as non-technical #users are unleashed upon the realm of #coding, wielding the mighty power of #AI like toddlers with magic wands. Meanwhile, unanswered questions pile up like unsorted laundry, but let's just pretend everything's under control. 🤦‍♂️🎉

  5. @r0ml Sure - Everybody in an org has some level of #technical aptitude, just varying levels of expertise in different areas. Talk about specific, relevant skills to the topic at hand, e.g.:

' #nontechnical users aren't going to use the command line to fix this'
    vs
'I bet most people could do this in a terminal window if a trainer or someone wrote out clear instructions'

    or

'sales team is non-technical, we need a dev for this'
    vs
'Gifty on the sales team shared with us the solution she created (mostly using Excel pivot tables) - I bet an engineer could extend it into this new planning tool.

  7. Without any prompting by me, the topic of Tw*exit came up at Thanksgiving dinner. One person said she loved it and was sad to see things possibly fall apart and she was gonna try Post, and I suggested #Mastodon.

I mentioned a few things, but the following things seemed to resonate:

the lack of ads, lack of an algorithm controlling what you see, and *local control of what you see* (server/local blocks, filters)

These are non-technical people. This stuff matters.
