With the government shutting down, who will funnel our taxes to military contractors? Who will subsidize the billionaires? Who will tap our phones, raid our communities, deport our neighbors?
Unfortunately, the shutdown won't stop those activities of the state.
The real problem is that the shutdown doesn't go far enough. Make the shutdown comprehensive and permanent!

After admitting this is an "Agenda prepared BY and FOR Conservatives" (not BY Americans FOR Americans), Promise 2 is to Dismantle the Administrative State — ALL of the federal government’s departments, agencies, and millions of employees.
He conflates the administrative work that is the prerogative of Executive, and law enactment that is the prerogative of Legislative — Then makes the clever leap from #SmallGovernment to #NoGovernment.

Just read an article on the NYT that implied that standing with the Palestinian people is the same as condoning Hamas’ gruesome attack. The people in the Gaza Strip are worst off now, which says a lot because it was already bad.
