After looking this over, I wonder how such a data structure would lend itself to the #internationalization of the #DNS domain name system. The structure allows for the preferred name of each concept to be specified in every recognized language. If each internet domain were relegated to the status of a concept in this ontology, then every domain would be allowed many equivalent names (one per operating language) which resolve to a unique concept that specifies the domain under consideration. This seems like it would lend itself incredibly well to Decentralized Identity [#W3C_DID], Linked Data [#linkeddata #json_ld], information- and content-centric networking technologies [#ICN #CCN #NETTECH], the semantic web [#SemWeb] and the construction of abstract #federated #ontologies by applications in real time.
