  1. @maths_c0d3 @gweeeen @Bristow_69 nous on fait quasiment toutes les installs sous #debian #gnome #netinstall. Pour les profs et élèves c'est gnome qui est globalement plébiscité. Debian 13 est, je trouve, particulièrement facile à installer et à maintenir, notamment en réseau, mais nous n'avons jamais d'ordinateurs récents à reconditionner. Avec Debian et Gnome on a l'essentiel et on évite des tas de trucs inutiles qui perturbent le néophyte. Un succès que cette Debian 13 sous Gnome.

  2. @landley I'll propably have to gut functions out of toybox to get it where I want it to be, but then again the "" Version of OS/1337 will be very much barebones....

    Just the essentials to get to be able to into stuff, be able to make a and / tiny- everything else (i.e. a system image one could dd onto a HDD/SSD)...

    Kinda like an old ...

    Ideally configureable to the point that I could also swap for dropbear as

    Just the essentials to get #Dropbear #Client to be able to #SSH into stuff, be able to make a #ramdisk and #wget / tiny-#curl everything else (i.e. a system image one could dd onto a HDD/SSD)...

    Kinda like an old #netinstall #Floppy...

  5. Time for another teaser.

    I have been working on a way to install #ManjaroARM directly on an SD/eMMC card with a form of netinstaller.

    And I am proud to say that its getting there.

    The goal is to have a script that installs current packages, directly to the card, from ANY Linux distro!

    I have tried to keep the dependencies to basic unix software.

    So far, tests are going great!
