On the tenth day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
Ten dice a-rolling,
Nine alignment values,
Eight Kallax cubes,
Seven deadly sins,
Six-sided spaces,
Five Platonic solids,
4E D&D,
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free. Not gonna lie, I love dice pools. Small ones like #Wildsea and #FitD, medium ones like #CortexPrime, large ones like #BurningWheel

On the ninth day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
Nine alignment values,
Eight Kallax cubes,
Seven deadly sins,
Six-sided spaces,
Five Platonic solids,
4E D&D,
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free. The D&D alignment chart may be terrible for role playing and also rooted in racism, but at least it gave us this amazing meme template.

On the seventh day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
Seven deadly sins,
Six-sided spaces,
Five Platonic solids,
4E D&D,
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free. The In Nomine license really deserves better than to fade away in Steve Jackson’s basement. The #ttrpg space is so much better able to serve that wacky divine conflict than it was when the game came out.

On the sixth day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
Six-sided spaces,
Five Platonic solids,
4E D&D,
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free. Please give me more tactical games that assume hexes. I’m begging you.
(Yes, I should have posted this yesterday.)

On the fifth day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
Five Platonic solids,
4E D&D,
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free.Fuck the d10. That is all.

On the fourth day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
4E D&D,
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free.I’ll entertain conversation that any earlier edition of D&D is the best, but I’ll die on the hill that 4th Edition was the best edition of D&D.

On the third day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
Three players who wanted to play the gay plane game,
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free.Three players who were both emotionally curious enough to play a game of damaged ace pilots working through their emotional baggage and also mechanically oriented enough to play a game of airplanes with drag factors and wind shear and altitude and fuel management.
I really want to play #FlyingCircus, people.

On the second day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
2d20 with Momentum, and
A night where my entire group is free.If you haven’t treated yourself to the recent iterations of the 2d20 system, you’re missing out.
Nathan Dowdell and the team at #Modiphius have taken Jay Little’s #2d20 system from a #GenesysRPG adjacent crunchy game to a narrative game that’s replaced #CortexRPG in my heart, and then back again. It does medium crunchy, high narrative action adventure like no other.

On the first day of Nerdmas, my true love gave to me…
A night where my entire group is free.
That’s what we’re all asking for, right?
