Just Updated a Mod I wrote for #MySummerCar in 2021 with it's first new version in that entire time.

With a mod I wrote for a different game. Compatibility was about 4 If's.

Does #MySummerCar #MyWinterCar have an InGame Fruit Brand that we know about, similar to Chiquita?

Honest question: Are there people who genuinely enjoy playing My Summer Car – or the successor that’s just been released, My Winter Car?

I wanted to like it, but it’s just so hard, slow, punishing, non-fun (self-description in the trailer), that it just didn’t work for me. I wanted it as a “casual-grind Animal Crossing-like for grown-ups”, if that makes sense; and I hoped the sequel would cater to casual folks like me. But it’s supposed to be even harder.

I can't help but appreciate that #MySummerCar is configured on Steam's back-end for up to 100GB of Save Data.

That 1.72 is an OVER estimate of how much space it's actually using. It's like, 12 text files of a couple KB each.

Okay so both #MySummerCar and #thelongdrive are on a specific range of #Unity #unity3d #unityengine builds that have a bug where some steering wheels will only half work - Quite literally, it thinks the entire range of rotation from -1.0 to 1.0 is from Top Dead Center through to the far right turn.

God I hate that. Two games I love, and neither works with my steering wheel. :(

Anyone know any fixes?

(It's a Microsoft Sidewinder FFB - The first FFB wheel ever)

jstest-gtk does show the full range of motion, as well as other games working just fine with it, which rules out hardware, fwiw.

Been getting back into #MySummerCar after a long hiatus. Had a good run going the last day and a half, only to die in a random crash on the highway this morning.

It's basically a more modern take on the NES formula: the game is short, but you will almost certainly die before you make it to the end.

Also, surprisingly enough there's a native Linux port now, made by the MSCLoader devs.
