  1. Jamuary2025_6: Workshop eighties_bass lead. Getting back to coding for the Workshop Computer, updating my "28_eighties_bass" card: 5-voice monosynth w/ filter. Here's a little playing with it, along w/ a pedal & WS osc as bass.

  2. Jamuary2025_5: Workshop Karplus-Strong + Delays. A quick one just playing w/ K-S algo + delays, modulating the K-S pitch and delay feedback time. Thanks to ChrisJ's Utility Pair for making this easy.

  3. Jamuary2025_4: Workshop System Bass Deluge. Adding Deluge! A quick WS 2-osc bass patch driven by Deluge's CV/gate. WS does mono bass really well, audio fed into Deluge for effects & (future!) live resampling youtube.com/watch?v=B-xrUwWoV1M

  4. Jamuary2025_3: Sinister Delays. I wanted to make sinister sounds using distortion & delays. Can the WS go gritty & still sound "good"? Shifting delay times make for creepy background chittering & record-scratch effects

  5. Jamuary2025_2: Finally using the Computer part of the Workshop System, running ChrisJ's Utility Pair Chords+Delay. I love running the WS's analog oscillator & filter through delay to get some really nice feedback textures.

  6. Jamuary2025! This year I'm focusing on MTM's Workshop System, partly to get better at modular, partly to fix up code I submitted for its Computer module. Some pieces, like this one, will be minimal as I explore the WS.

  7. I needed a Thonkicon knurled nut driver for the 50+ jack nuts on the MTM Workshop System kit as I took it apart multiple times to test it. So I made a temp one out of a glue stick. Works well enough! youtube.com/watch?v=qbVw0308y9Y #musicthingmodular #workshopsystem #eurorack #thonkicon

  12. Working on more videosynth stuff in Arduino using PicoDVI library, controlled via MIDI. Just a simple spinning triangle with frame fade, MIDI controls color, position, speed, of the triangle (the MIDI controller is the rad upcoming 8mu by #MusicThingModular musicthing.co.uk/8mu.html)
    Can't believe this runs on a #RaspberryPiPico chip! #MIDI #VideoSynth #Arduino
