"A Well Respected Man" is a song by the English rock band #theKinks, written by the group's #leadSinger and #rhythmGuitarist #RayDavies, and originally released in the United Kingdom on the #EP #KwyetKinks in September 1965. It was also released as a single in the US and Continental Europe. Written as a satire on the British upper class, the song was inspired by Ray Davies's interest in #musicHall and scorn for wealthy tourists he encountered on a 1965 vacation.

Visited the #Charlottenhöhle in #Giengen yesterday, had lunch + bought yummy food at the #ostrich farm. Then on to the #swing social in #Heidelberg. Afterwards dinner at our fav tapas bar. Last bt nt least, clubbing at the #rock night at #MusicHall in #Oppau. Passing out at 2AM, being happy about the fab day, only to wake up again around 4 to puke my guts out. The latter wasn't so fab.

Haben gestern die #Charlottenhöhle in #Giengen besichtigt, waren dann essen + Schmankerl auf der Straußenfarm einkaufen. Anschließend zum Social nach #Heidelberg. Abends bei unserem Lieblingsspanier einige Tapas einwerfen, zur Rocknacht in die #MusicHall nach #Oppau fahren, abzappeln, um kurz nach 2 platt ins Bett fallen, sich freuen, was man für einen genialen Tag gehabt hatte, um dann um kurz vor 4h wieder aufzuwachen + sich die Seele aus dem Leib zu kotzen. Letzteres war dann nicht so genial.
