In the past, I've always normalized my eBird audio. And plan to continue.

"The Macaulay Library also now automatically normalizes audio on new uploads for greater consistency.

Your original sound files remain unchanged—only the online playback might sound different."

I’m new here, so here is my #intro. I am passionate about #birds, #conservation, and #technology and the intersection of these three things. During the day, I manage the Merlin project at the #CornellLab of #Ornithology, as well as mobile development and machine learning for #eBird and #MacaulayLibrary.
