  1. @redcrew I just found one event that is tomorrow (but I don't know Michigan geography), and I did see some scheduled for the end of February as well.

Look for the hashtag #NationalSeedSwapDay and / or #SolarPunkSunday .

I guess I will get to exercise some of my public information officer duties by informing the public of what our post-WoTo plans are for radio service to local amateurs.

Wolverine Tower went up in 1973, and there are photos and clippings about its construction at the #AADL . It looks bigger in this construction photo.

I hadn't bothered to check it's been so gray, but you're right. :) Woo hoo! 🌞☕ #Michiganders might need sunglasses today.😎

  13. @redcrew I just saw your post. #ATT cellular was not working. I had to go to the library for internet access.

We finally got power Friday night. I know quite a few people who still do not have power.

This was awful. I consider myself luckier than many because a friend in Ann Arbor checked up on me and lent me a backup battery to run medical equipment.

I am looking into what can be done. #DTEEnergy needs to do better and #PowerOutage emergencies need to be handled better.

  14. @redcrew Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice For Murderers. Not sure how I feel about it yet!

  15. @redcrew not to mention some old #MFM & #RLL hard drives if anyone even remembers those. 🤣

  16. @redcrew I'm using #Amplenote and I love it so far. The calendar view is amazing, and the task management is more than enough for me.

    Yay, peppers!!!

I’m growing 8 varieties of peppers. All germinated in early March. I just picked my first one, a beautiful deep red “Round of Hungary.” There are lots of green peppers of all sizes, and they are just now starting to ripen. We’ve had a very cool summer so everything is really slow to ripen. These will all continue to ripen until March as long as it doesn’t get too cold. Peppers are so good, they are worth the wait! :-)

  18. @redcrew One of the nice things about the increasing #NativePlants market is having a selection of spring plants available at the end of the season. I added some marsh marigolds (Caltha palustris) and nodding onions (Allium cernuum).

For the leaves, I also use them to mulch. A lot of it gets stored in various ways to feed the #compost through the next year. #gardening #NorthernIllinois

  19. @redcrew Not every day, no. When I fill the feeders, I put out a tin can full of "Don Roberto Game Bird Food" & the ravens seem to have discovered it. It's not unusual to see 40+ quail, but this many ravens is new. They started doing this a month or so ago, so I don't know what changed. #Feederwatch tells me "that's an unusual number of ravens". Indeed it is!

  20. @redcrew did the #WordPress release notes actually mention that media other than images were supported from #OpenVerse ? I'm seeing a Git commit in WordPress Core that only mentions images.

    github.com/WordPress/wordpress

And actually, I did a search through the WP 6.2 source code and can confirm that the only API endpoint being called is for images.

How To Solve It was an assigned text in a Residential College course called Precise Thought, taught by Mental Health Research Institute Professor Manfred Kochen, that I flunked #alas in 1971. (Learned a lot, though!)
