So, I didn't find anything from Wag & Meow in #Halifax 👎🏼 but I found a nice little store specialized in anything #Dog and #local aaaand look what I came back with! They had so many options for people looking for treats #LocallyMade in #NovaScotia ! Plus, they had treats for dogs like Moxxi with #allergies ! I'll make something more formal out of them and #DogsOfMastodon will know all about it! Stick around!

I make bio-regional incense from plant and resins that either grow at my place or in the surrounding area. I do sell some seasonally but mostly I use it myself in my little garden Temple. I am in the middle of putting together a Midsummer batch right now and the Still Room where I'm making it smells so wonderful. Dried roses and lilacs, pine, fir, spruce, Mahonia, Rowan berries, fir resin... I'm not even sure what all is in this batch. I chop the dried leaves and petals with a mesa luna then mix it all in the mortar and pestle. I use honey or mead to stick it together, then spread and dry it for a couple of weeks. It is so relaxing walking in there while it's drying. Burning it is lovely too.
