When the #King of #Sweden found out, he tried intercepting the ship before it reached #London. But he was too late.
James founded the Linnean Society, & served as its first President. The society became a #Hub for #Scientific #Progress.
The #Linnean #Society is the oldest #Biological society in the world.

Bad part, it is open access.Open acces paradox: researchers from developing countries are able to access papers for free, but unable to publish on them. Outcome: Increased impact for countries with higher incomes.
We need full #waivers for ALL researchers from developing countries 😔
