I'm taking a #LeShuttle through the #ChannelTunnel to #France, but their website's feature to specify different passengers for the outbound and return leg was broken.
A normal person would contact tech support. Right?
But instead, I #reverseEngineered their #API and pushed the correct data directly into their systems. Sorted!

#OGONE40001138 is a really useful and informative error that is thrown by my #commerzbank and #firstdirect Mastercard (begins with number 5) online payment attempt on the #leshuttle #eurotunnel website but an #n26 payment card (also starting with 5) works fine. Bravo N26 which, as I have said as often as I can, utterly rocks.

#eurostar and #leshuttle should lose operating licence until provision is made to recover trains trapped in the #ChannelTunnel using altenate power. Why was no attempt made to evacuate passengers through the service tunnel? A disaster waiting to happen!

On Le Shuttle comparing our old Corsa-e to the ID.3 🚂
The range difference is HUGE:
• Corsa-e: 50 kWh battery, first charge at Ferrybridge (105 miles)
• ID.3: 77 kWh battery, first charge at Peterborough (202 miles)Peterborough chargers were full, so we just continued to Cambridge Services (+26 miles) without sweating it. In the Corsa we had no chance of being able to do that. 🙂

The more I drive my #Tesla #model3 in “edge case” situations, the less I worry about #ai taking over the world.
This weekend it was seeing it completely thrown by being on a car-train (#LeShuttle), and, amongst many things, it concluding I was in a traffic jam, that I needed to drive through the train to a ferry port, that my battery would be drained by 20% while doing the crossing, oh, and that my windscreen wipers needed to be turned on 🤯

Came into the building for some food, and they have these cool original models of the tunnel concept and also another one showing the tunnel boring machine. Love stuff like this.
