As of next month all the #XeroLinux rices including default one on #KDE will no longer be using #LatteDock. They indistinguishable from before only they will be using the KDE panel instead. Less memory usage.. More fluid system. #FOSS #Linux #Ricing.

As #Wayland draws nearer and more users want to use it, next year will migrate all rices to use #KDE panel rather than #LatteDock much to my dismay... Since Latte and #Wayland don't play nice together at all #FOSS #Ricing #Linux #OpenSource

@[email protected] Yep. I find #KDE to be overwhelming with it’s endless selection of plasmoids and themes, many of which can break your desktop if you mix and match them incorrectly. And don’t get me started on #LatteDock.

I just want a dock at the bottom of my screen and a panel at the top with some easy to reach add-ons. But Gnome went and “improved” things with their quick settings menu with corners so fat and rounded that they might as well have made the whole thing a circle.

#lattedock git has had a fix for plasma 5.27 pushed to it today. For #Fedora users I have rebuilt with the fix

- Agregué un selector de color en pantalla al #LatteDock (y me estoy arrepintiendo de no haberlo hecho desde que me enteré que existía)

Otra novedad en mi #EscritorioGNULinux es la apariencia de #LatteDock, retomé los efectos de Unity para los estados de las aplicaciones (cerrada, minimizada, activa, más de una ventana...) #ViernesDeEscritorio

if it annoys you how janky #lattedock has become on #plasma 5.25 and 5.26, I packaged the latest git build for #Fedora on copr. It contains wayland and fixes that Psifidotos wrote before stepping back from development, but it might make somethings worse.

¡Feliz #ViernesDeEscritorio! Al fondo, mi canhija Kira en un cafecito "pet friendly" de #Veracruz. Cosas chidas de #KDE #Plasma:
- Panel superior con menú global, bandeja del sistema reloj/calendario
- Terminal sin bordes, los oculté temporalmente para la captura

Würde mich prächtig amüsieren, wenn die Nutzoj, die insgeheim doch nur macOS (und kein #Plasma) haben wollen, ungeachtet Apples grausiger Fenstermanagement-UX-Paradigmen, jetzt ihr kleines Dock verlieren sollten.
