The total number of confirmed measles cases in Maricopa County this year has now reached 16, just under halfway through the year. I got a @JetTip alert about SWA8502 N8772M MAX8 diverting to Portland #KPDX. Interesting, ferry flight out of maintenance from Everett #KPAE to Phoenix #KPHX - SWA doesn't serve PAE but uses maintenance facilities there. Can we figure out the issue? As a ferry flight, it can't be pax. PHX weather isn't bad now; thunderstorms forecast later. Apparently not urgent enough to divert closer like RNO, SMF, BOI, EUG or SLC. Ok, just added one from the UK as well... a single #ACARS #VDL2 station in this case.
Keep in mind some of these aircraft will be using #ADSB, some wont <cough Elon /cough>.
