  1. Every day is a mental health crisis for everyone with a heart who is paying attention.

I’m trying really hard to stay afloat. Probably just like you. So here are some things that provided buoyancy for me today…

    1. My website redesign is coding up SO nicely. I have impressed myself (#SelfLove).

    2. Music, sangria, and coding into the wee hours.

    3. After a month with no meds they FINALLY arrived tonight. Tomorrow will be a new day.

  2. If you are a person anywhere on the autism spectrum, you may experience "Justice Sensitivity" and if you're like me, you may find it difficult to understand how so many people don't and how this could possibly be the norm.

It is, you're right. Yeah they've been a target of my #justicesensitivity for a while now. Now I can add racism to the list.

  4. To spouse, this morning, after an epiphany while background processing something for my book:

    Me:

    Him: *looks at me quizzically*

    Me:

Him: “I thought you knew that… like… I thought that was what it was all about.”

    Me: “Not until JUST NOW.”

    Him: “Huh.”

  6. Once I learned about #justicesensitivity it made sense why when I see something clearly unfair I have a very hard time letting it go. Like my #adhd brain cannot compute people lying and cheating as a *lifestyle*.
I understand the impulse. I understand making mistakes. I do not understand continuously making the choice to fuck people over. Even people who I think suck and “deserve it”. It’s gotten in my way my entire life. I cannot sit by when I see people scamming and being dishonest.
