CW: Food cravings and healthy choices.
Last night I really, really wanted some poutine. Just cheese and gravy and everything I shouldn’t be having.
Instead, I stopped at the store and grabbed some pulled roasted chicken that was on sale and some cheese. Once home, I cut up some tomato and cucumber. And I made a couple quick quesadillas for my partner and I.
Satisfied the need for cheesy comfort and actually had some goodly vegetables.
One day at a time.

At times I feel like I’m not doing as well as I should be, and while that may be true sometimes, I can point to at least half a dozen decisions I made this week that were healthier choices compared to my baseline.
Hoping that consistency wins the day.
